Nutritional Information
Eating enough food to provide energy for body function is vital but, when we consume more energy (calories or kilojoules) than we use we can gain weight. By knowing the energy value of foods we can estimate how much we're taking in to make sure we don't consume more than we need.
However, energy is only one of the things to watch when you are trying to eat a healthy and wholesome diet. It is also very important to keep the intake of salt and saturated fats down in order to lower the risk of high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke - eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. At Gourmet Meals we offer well-balanced meals with a good variety of vegetables in order to ensure an adequate intake of a variety of vitamins and minerals.
